Well done to Matt and Georgina on their first outing and we look forward to seeing them again in the Show ring.
Surely the hardest working family of this show season are Abi and Tracey Marshall and Les Rockett who seemed to travel to virtually every show in Devon and Somerset during the Summer. Showing their Greenway Aryshires alongside Abi’s Autumn Gold Guernseys, and the odd British Friesian, they were very successful in their efforts and we must thank them for keeping a Guernsey presence at many of the small shows in the South West.
Here is a round up of their prizes with the Guernseys that have not already been seen elswhere on this site.
North Devon Show. Reserve AODB Champion with Lucky Cow Dum Dum.
Totnes. 1st prize calf class with Autumn Gold Rio.
Ashwater Show. Champion Dairy Cow with Blacknor Cracker Banger Boy Bramley.
Midsomerset. Champion Guernsey with Autumn Gold Rio.
Bramley at Ashwater.
Rio at Exeter Calf Show.
Congratulations to Abi, who has won in excess of 15 Trophies in her handling classes this year and who has qualified for the Holstein Handling Classes at the ABAB.
