The Greatest Online Agricultural Show on 2nd May
To our showing members who may be suffering from serious withdrawal symptoms following the postponement of so many shows – maybe this is the answer!

Entries are now open for the first ever Online Agricultural Show. With the backing of many show societies, Innovation for agriculture and now the major dairy breed societies ‘The Greatest Online Agricultural Show’ now needs you.
The Channel Island Breed Section (Kindly supported by The Jersey Society of the United Kingdom and the English Guernsey Society) will be judged by National Jersey Panel judge and former NCBC Classifier Mr. Philip Arrell of ‘Thistlerose’ Jerseys from Welshampton, Shropshire.
With 5 classes;
- Maiden Heifer
- In Calf Heifer
- Heifer in Milk
- 2nd Calvers
- 3rd and subsequent calvers.
Then a breed championship there is a lot of fun to be had with a fraction of the preparation, work and expense of exhibiting at a physical show.
TO ENTER
- Simply take a two photographs of your entries (One from the side, one from behind)
- And a short video between 10 and 30 seconds long of your animal walking (Either on a halter or free)
- Then register your intent to enter by contacting breed steward Richard Bostock on 07806 728 790 or rp.bostock@yahoo.co.uk
- You will then be registered for entry to the ‘Showground’ where you can enter your animal name, ear tag number, date of birth and then submit your pictures and video.
Entries close at 11pm on 29th April, with judging slated for 30th April and the 1st of May ahead of the Show day itself on Saturday 2nd of May 2020 which will consist of online trade stands, young farmers competitions, displays of the UK’s finest Cattle, Equine, Sheep, Pigs, Poultry, Dogs, You name it the show will show case it.

Successful Guernsey entrants will receive an EGCS Rosette as awarded at the County Shows.
