There are 21 farmers from Finland, 2 from Tipperary,Eire and 2 from Taranaki NZ at the Dairy Show on Wednesday October 2nd and the party will be visitng the Bickfield, Hartland View ,Hinton and Kenvin herds while here. The leader of the Finnish group has Guernsey calves born from imported US embryos, and Mr O’Connor from Tipperary is wanting to buy 40 spring calving A2xA2 heifers. With 20 A2xA2 in calf heifers poised for export to Holland shortly these are exciting times for the Guernsey breed.
