This years Royal Cornwall Show was held on June 6th – 8th at Wadebridge. In a complete contrast to last year’s rain and gales, the weather was perfect and the cattle looked a picture under the sun. Making a welcome return to the show ring, were the Warren Family from Nr. Penzance. Joining them were Nicola Bottom, The Jelbert Family, Ian Rowe, Brian and Sheila Adams and The Addington Fund.
There were 25 animals forward for Judge Colin Evans from Carmarthen, S.Wales to inspect. He found his Champion in Tredinney Yogi’s Gabrielle 2 the well known 4th calver from the Warrens, who won her first Royal Cornwall Show Championship having missed last year due to TB restrictions and being shown in calf the previous year.

The Warrens also received Reserve Champion with, Tredinney Andante’s Alicia 19, the winner of Colin Evans’ ” class of the day”, the Heifer In Milk.

A special mention must go to the winning Group of three exhibited again by the Warrens. A truly magnificent trio of heifers that showed great promise for the future.
