World Conference. We have just put the finishing touches on an all-star
list of farm visits that will be featured in the pre and post

Guernsey Calendar of Events
I am experimenting with the addition of a public calendar to the website. If you click on the link, above, you will be able to see the calendar. Next step is to start getting show dates, etc., added to the calendar. Everyone can view the calendar: the location of shows, meetings, etc. will even be linked to Google maps automatically. How To Upload Photos to The Guernsey Photo Gallery
Want to photograph cows and post the images on the internet so they can be seen by folks from all over the world?
Here are (hopefully simple) instructions on how to do so. And information on how to make the best of the EGCS photo gallery even if you don't want to post photographs. Did you know, for example, that you could vote on your favourite photo? Or send a Guernsey cow e-card to a friend?

Little Britain - Theft of Copyright and Bandwidth
Little Britain? What are Matt Lucas and David Walliams doing with a dairy in Alaska? I would guess nothing --- except that the name of their show is not the only thing that the Little Britain House Dairy in Palmer, Alaska has appropriated without permission.

Farewell Flash Animation
In May 2005 we had a graphic designer "modernise" the EGCS milk can logo, and vectorise it so that it could be used on the internet without any loss of quality. At the same time we had what's called the "splash screen" for the website converted into a Flash animation.
The Flash has probably worn out its welcome --- as regular visitors have grown tired of clicking the "Skip Intro" button. So the Flash animation has been retired on its third anniversary. For those of you who miss it, just click above to see the article and the animation.
