The 25 highest Yielding Guernseys in the 05/06 Milk Recording year.

These 25 cows are in 13 different herds with the Briddlesford and Tredinney herds each having 4 individuals listed and Briddlesford Lucks Daffodil 2 being the top producer a first for the Griffin family and with 2 other Daffodils providing the leading cow family.

The four from Tredinney include Boskenna Karen 2 Ex 93 who is the highest scored and also the only previous member of a top 25 list (2004).

The 20 cows that have been scored average 85 points (Briddlesford are due for Classication in Feb 07) and average 9054 kgs @4.82%F and 3.44%P with 745 kgs F+P and an average GMI of +213.

The leading sire is Trotacre Jay Mr Luck (602750) with 5 daughters , whilst his full brother Luxury has 3 daughters as does Jensgolden P Royal Oak, whilst Rozelyn Patmar Jay Glacier and Trotacre Mercury Lorry both have 2 daughters listed.

The Rosewood, Blacknor,Kenvin, Easby, & Skeel herds each have 2 animals listed the 2 Trevarthian cows are in their 4^th home, whilst Tony Dallyn , Richard Norman and Colin Evans all of whom bought their first Guernseys in 2004 to join Holstein herds are all represented, which is a trend that will surely continue.
