The above figures represent the last 142 bulls with UK Proofs and have been sorted into 3 Groups, those marketed by Genus, those marketed by Others, mainly Bovex, Semex, Avoncroft and Western Cattle Breeders and finally those chosen by the EGCS Breeders, all of whom bar one (Sagittarius) were selected for use as young sires based on Average of their Parent Production Information.

I think the figures demonstrate that the "dictators" or should that be "true believers" have delivered real progress for the breed, and this has been done on a very finite budget with every group of bulls having to be self financing as well as providing  significant financial support for EGCS.
